Sunshine here. I just wanted to prepare you for what is to come this Autumn, especially now that September is already over. Below are some great treats, fashion trends and other information pertinent for the fall! Let me know what you think!
Dress yourself in eccentric and fun furs. They don’t have to be real and you don’t have to look like Big Bird. But you should have fun and be warm!
Suits are in! And I don’t mean the show. Rise to the occasion with tailored suits and pants. Always professional and modern.
Winter White is my favorite. Labor Day means nothing to the world of light when it comes to this bold color. Get your ‘Olivia Pope’ on and choose winter white for your classic and daring winter coat.
Could you really get enough of cute hats? I mean beanies, snugglies, caps; whatever you call them, you are going to need them! This winter is going to be cold. And what goes better with cold than cute?
Military fashion does not have to be harsh. Break out your emerald green, tailored pants, tie-up boots and rock it!
Cutie booties are not my favorite (since I am so short!) but they are adorable and they are so in this fall! Pair them with the cutest jeggings and, if you have long legs, be bold and choose a skirt!
We are not all superheroes, but capes are in. (And ponchos, too!) Be brilliantly baggy this fall.
Warm apple cider is good for the sinuses and for the taste buds. Grab some at Starbucks (Caramel Apple Spice) and let me know how delicious and creamy it is!
Mallow says hello! Marshmallow everything is here. That means enjoy those Krispy treats, the s’mores ,the cocoa. Go marshmallows! Free s’mores at S’mores Galore. Glen Woods Oct.6 at 5:30pm.
Pumpkin Spice is back at Starbucks, Pumpkin Smash is coming to Jamba Juice, and I am in Pumpkin heaven! Thank you, Charlie Brown. Enjoy this season and rue your pumpkin world! Also, do check out the amazing Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin at Starbucks… but not before my daily fix!
Head to Outtakes and grab that cookie dough! Baking cookies will get you through your snow days and your exams this winter. Stock up and go nuts!
Are you feeling down? You can’t be. Hot cocoa is going to be ridiculous this season. I mean, you basically are gonna need it to live. Pick up a cup at Susq this fall or the new Au Bon Pain in Hawkins! Yummy and please do not hold the marshmallows!
Have you heard of Salted Caramel? No? Where have you been? This as a snack, candy, drink, even candle scent is amazing. Grab the Salted Caramel Mocha at Starbucks if you don’t believe me! Oh, sweet drizzle.
What is fall without Apple Cinnamon? I mean the tea, the cider, the desserts, everything. The list goes on but I will not. Grab it and won’t regret it!
General Announcement: It’s football season. Get out your thermals, seat cushion, or chips and dip and watch the games! Now as a fee paying Towson Tiger it is your duty to watch. Towson vs Stony Brook Oct.4 at 3.
Who doesn’t like leaves? Not this pup! Enjoy the change of the grandiose Glen Woods as it gives you great scenery. Embrace the twirls of gold, brown, red as it rustles in your hair as you walk around campus.
Weber’s Farm is down the street so grab some friends and go. Also, they have an Apple Cider Doughnut, that could make you melt!
Childhood is back! Get on a hayride or go through a maze. The local farm has all of these for a small price and a great time with your friends!
It is getting colder, so wrap up! My favorite way is the TU blanket/quilt in the making. But there are tons of things to do so be careful and stay warm!
September is almost gone, October is around the corner, and what’s coming then? Thanksgiving Break! We are thankful for our friends, our loved ones, and Towson, but most importantly, the break away with great food! [November 26-30!]
Finally, this is September and it’s almost gone! Enjoy this coming of fall and all the trends that go with it.
