Towson Best

Sometimes going to the dining hall every day gets old. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the best places to get some grub that are close to campus. What are some of your favorite restaurants off campus? Let us know in the comments!

Towson Hot Bagels If you’ve haven’t been to TBH, you haven’t lived. They always have the freshest, softest bagels. It gets a bit crowded during the breakfast and lunch rush, so try to go in the afternoon if you can.

Towson Best Restaurant serves classic Chinese food with generous proportions for a great price. They’ve got a full bar and offer delivery. Their sushi is nothing to write home about, but the classics like fried rice, lo mein, and General Tso’s chicken are always a safe bet.

Burger Brothers on Allegheny Avenue has the juiciest burgers with tons of different options for toppings. My personal favorite is the bacon cheeseburger.

Pizans is the perfect place to go for a midnight snack. They’re open from 2pm to 3am and also deliver. So next time you’re out on the town late a night and get a craving for pizza, head to Pizans.

Kyodai Rotating Sushi Bar is a fun and fast place to get sushi. Make sure to head there during the lunch rush in order the get the freshest sushi.

Bill Bateman’s is located in the 7800 York Road Building. Their crab pretzels and wings are to die for. On Mondays, they have $10 all you can eat wings, so be sure to check it out.

Towson Diner is open 24/7, so it’s the perfect place to go late at night on the weekends. They’ve got juicy burgers, homemade lasagna, and delicious coffee. It’s a bit on the pricier side for basic diner food, but the service is impeccable.

Chipotle With two locations on York and one on Goucher, Chipotle is a classic. Helpful hint: order half of two different meats and you’ll end up getting more meat that usual.

Atwaters Bakery is less of a bakery and more of a cafe with great sandwiches, bread, soups, and drinks. A go-to meal is the BALT – bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on country bread with garlic mayo.
