Saturday, November 10: Go out to Paws between 8 pm and midnight to see the bands “The Lake Effect” and “Daytona Drive By” perform as part of a concert series presented in part by Student Activities.
Come by the Potomac Lounge at 8 pm to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu New Year, in style with music, dancing and prayer for those who wish to participate.
Go out and support your Tigers at Unitas Stadium at 3:30 as they face off against Rhode Island.
Tuesday, November 13: Stop by the Union for the ILead workshop “Ethical Decision Making,” sponsored by Student Affairs. This event is being held from 5:00-6:00 pm and will count toward your ILead certificate!
The Career Center will be in Smith Hall between 1 and 3 today. They can help with anything from job interviews to resume guidance.
Wednesday, November 14: Calling all commuters! It’s that time again. Today is Commuter Appreciation Day. If you’ve missed the past few this semester, stop by Chesapeake in the Union between 11 and 1 for some fun and food!
Thursday, November 15: It’s Thursday…and that means Trivia Night at 8 pm in Paws.
Friday, November 16: Think you have what it takes to win the Miss Curvy and Courageous Beauty Pageant? Well if you want to take a shot at it or just support a friend, come out to Paws at 8 pm tonight. This event, sponsored by Student Affairs, is TU’s first plus-sized beauty competition.
Many of us have been impacted by bullying, whether personally or through the experiences of friends. Tonight, Love is Louder week is coming to an end with a panel discussion and guest speaker focusing on the issue of bullying. This lecture, sponsored by Student Affairs, begins at 8 pm in West Village Commons.
