Can you believe it’s already November? The semester sure is going by pretty fast! This week there are plenty of events to start off the new month right. Take a look!
Saturday, November 3: Want to get in on some dancing, music and food? Head over to Paws in the Union at 8 pm for the Student Affairs event “Jammin in Jerusalem.”
At 11:30, also in Paws, you can join fellow students in cheering on the Tigers as they face Delaware. The game will be televised nationally, so this is a great opportunity to show your TU pride!
Monday, November 5: Come on over to Van Bokkelen at 7:30 to attend a showing of Amadeus, sponsored by Student Affairs.
Tuesday, November 6: November is National Family Caregivers Month, and the Cook Library Book Club is holding a discussion and lecture about a faculty member’s experiences growing up with a family affected by autism. Stop over at 12:30 in room 507 for the event!
Wednesday, November 7: Are you a junior or senior thinking of attending grad school? Not sure where to start or what the process is all about? Stop into the free seminar sponsored by Student Affairs. “
Graduate School 101: Navigating the Application Process.”This is a free event at Morgan State University, but registration is required.
Thursday, November 8: There’s quite a few events going on today. Attend today’s ILead workshop, Event Planning, sponsored by Student Affairs. As with other workshops, this will be counted towards your certificate. The workshop starts at 11:30 and will continue until 1 pm.
Student Affairs is sponsoring the“Adopt-A-Campus” volunteer event. As part of this service effort, you can spend just two hours helping to clean up the campus and keep it in great shape for current and future students.
It’s Thursday…and that means trivia in Paws at 8 pm.
Friday, November 8: Tonight at 8 pm, Student Affairs and Student Activities is sponsoring “Comedy Competition” in Paws. Try your hand at some stand-up and enjoy food and prizes in the process!
