Friday, October 19: There’s plenty of sporting events to go to today. You could support the Women’s soccer team as they battle against the Wilmington Seahawks at 3:00, or greet the Women’s volleyball team in their first home game after being away for four straight matches at 7:00.
If you missed the International Café last week, Weekends @Towson is putting on the event again in Paws in the Union between 7 and 10 pm. Go to learn about various cultures as you socialize and have fun!
Saturday, October 20: Head over to Johnny Unitas Stadium to root for the Tigers as they face off against Old Dominion at 7 pm.
Sunday, October 21: The first annual Love is Louder retreat will be taking place in the Potomac Lounge! For $20 you can take part in the day-long event (10 am-4 pm), get lunch and a t-shirt.
You can attend a variety of sporting events today. At 12, the field hockey team will host the Delaware Blue Hens. At 1 pm the women’s soccer team will play against the Panthers, and the volleyball team will battle Northeastern.
Tuesday, October 23: It’s that time of year again! Run over to Potomac between 11:30 and 1:30 for pumpkin painting as part of Halloweekend and get into the holiday spirit!
Looking to get more involved in community service? Check out the Relay for Life kickoff event between 6:30 and 8:30 pm in Loch Raven. There will be food, activities, and a chance to sign up for Relay if you haven’t already!
Wednesday, October 24: Today you can add another workshop toward your ILEAD certificate by attending the “Speak Up” training. The event is open from 4:30 to 6:30 in Loch Raven and is open to all students.
If you’re bored before the training, come out and support the Men’s soccer team as they face Northeastern today at 3:00 in the Soccer Complex.
Thursday, October 25: Go by the Counseling Center for the another Halloweekend event! The Haunted House Party runs from 7pm to 10 pm. Remember to come wearing your costume!
It’s Thursday…and that means Trivia! Stop by Paws at 8 pm to win prizes, get some great food specials, test your knowledge and just have fun!
Can you Survive Towson this Halloweekend? Register for this event where you can race through the campus on an epic journey to evade zombies!
Friday, October 27: Head over to the Potomac Lounge to participate in LASO’s Nacho Latina event. Here you can enjoy some food and hang out with friends as you learn and embrace the diversity on campus.
If you’re sick of studying for that midterm, join Campus Life at 8 pm in the Speaker’s Circle to watch the Dark Knight Rises for the final Halloweekend event…aside from Trick or Treating of course!
Go to the Live and Local Café today between 8 and 11 pm for an open mic night that is open to all students. It sounds like a blast, and there’s no audition necessary!
